Terms of Use.
These terms govern use of this website and the purchase of Gloschef products, unless a separate written agreement applies to your order.
Last updated: 31 October 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Gloschef, a kitchenware brand and manufacturer based in Guangdong, China. References to “Gloschef”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the Gloschef business operating this website. References to “you” mean the person or business using the website or placing an order.
Trade, private-label, hospitality and OEM/ODM orders may be governed by a separate quotation, proforma invoice, supply agreement or framework contract. Where such a document conflicts with these terms, the signed document prevails for that order.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing this website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order. If you are acting for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.
Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- use the website in a way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or its data;
- introduce malware, scrape content at scale, or interfere with the normal operation of the website;
- copy, reproduce or republish website content for commercial use without our written permission;
- misrepresent your identity, company or authority to place orders.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
Product information
We aim to describe products accurately, including materials, dimensions, base construction, compatible hob types and care requirements. Colour and finish reproduction depends on screens and lighting, and small tolerances in dimensions, weight and surface are normal in manufactured metalware. Where a specification is critical, confirm it in writing before ordering.
Care instructions, compatibility markings and safety guidance are part of the product. Do not remove them, and do not market a product for a use it was not designed for. Product images, drawings and renders are indicative unless confirmed as the approved sample.
Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we issue a written order confirmation or proforma invoice, or when we dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. We may decline an order where:
- the product is unavailable or the specification cannot be met;
- the order appears fraudulent or payment cannot be verified;
- the requested product or labelling would breach food-contact, safety or export rules in the destination market;
- there is an error in the price or description shown on the website.
Private-label, OEM/ODM and hospitality orders become binding once artwork, tooling and the pre-production sample are approved in writing. Changes requested afterwards may affect price and lead time.
Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation or invoice and exclude taxes, duties, freight and insurance unless expressly included. Import duties, VAT and destination charges are the buyer's responsibility unless the order is quoted DDP.
Payment terms are stated on the proforma invoice and normally include a deposit with the balance due before shipment. Late payment may result in suspension of production or dispatch. Ownership passes only when full payment has been received, or as otherwise agreed in writing.
Delivery, risk and inspection
Delivery terms are stated on the order confirmation (for example EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP) and follow the applicable Incoterms version. Risk passes according to those terms. Estimated shipping dates are made in good faith and are not guarantees unless expressly agreed.
Inspect goods promptly on arrival. Damage, shortage or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery, with the information described on our Shipping & Returns page.
Returns, warranty and remedies
Returns and warranty are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy. In summary, confirmed manufacturing defects are covered by repair, replacement or credit for the agreed warranty period; change-of-mind returns are not accepted for made-to-order goods. Consumer purchases may carry additional statutory rights which are not affected by these terms.
Intellectual property
The Gloschef name, wordmark, brand assets, product designs, photography, drawings and website content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use our product images and descriptions for the purpose of reselling genuine Gloschef products, provided you do not alter them in a misleading way.
For private-label and OEM/ODM projects, ownership of customer designs and custom tooling is set out in the project contract. Where no contract provision exists, customer-supplied designs remain the customer's property and are used only to fulfil the order.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use this website or our products in a way that is unlawful, misleading or harmful, including: selling products in breach of food-contact or labelling rules, removing required warnings, making unverified material, origin or certification claims, or using the Gloschef brand in a way that suggests endorsement you do not have.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from use of this website or from products supplied, except where such loss is caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for the goods concerned, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for consumer statutory rights.
Indemnity
Where you supply designs, artwork, trademarks or specifications for a custom order, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from the use of those materials as instructed, provided we have not modified them outside your instructions.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the dispute may be submitted to the competent court in Guangdong, China, unless a separate signed agreement specifies another forum or arbitration. Where mandatory consumer law in the buyer's country provides a different forum, those rights remain unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, products or payment methods. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date.
