Questions, answered.

The practical answers buyers ask most often — materials, compliance, sampling and after-sales. If the answer is not here, send the product reference and we will reply with specifics.

Materials & construction

Which stainless steel do you use?

Most bodies and lids are produced in 18/10 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a clean food-contact surface. Where a different alloy is required by the market, price point or construction, we propose alternatives with the relevant test route and the trade-offs in weight, heat behaviour and cost.

What does the 3 mm base actually change?

A thicker base spreads heat more evenly and holds temperature better when cold ingredients are added. It also adds weight and cost. We specify base thickness per product line rather than applying it uniformly; the approved sample and specification sheet state the exact construction.

Are the products suitable for induction hobs?

Induction-ready products carry a magnetic base and are marked accordingly. Gas, electric and ceramic hobs are also supported unless stated otherwise. The compatible hob types are printed on the packaging and listed in the product specification.

What coatings do you offer?

Uncoated, brushed and satin finishes are standard. Non-stick coatings are available where the product line requires them, with coating type and application specified per product. Coating adhesion and food-contact performance are checked in the QC process; care instructions are supplied with the product.

Compliance & documentation

Which food-contact standards can you support?

We develop and test against the requirements of the destination market — typically LFGB and EU 1935/2004 for Europe, FDA food-contact requirements for the US, and the equivalent national requirements elsewhere. REACH and other material declarations are available where applicable. Final documentation depends on the specific product and material, so confirm the intended market at the quotation stage.

Can you provide test reports and declarations?

Yes. Depending on the market we can supply food-contact test reports, declaration of compliance, material declarations and packaging artwork with the required symbols and language versions. We recommend confirming the required document set before tooling so nothing has to be retested later.

Do you support retailers' own labelling and language versions?

Yes. Retail packaging, labels, care instructions and multilingual text can be produced to your artwork. We check that mandatory warnings and symbols are present, but the final marketing and regulatory sign-off remains with the brand.

Ordering, samples & private label

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on the product, the finish and whether tooling is new. Stock items start lower; custom handles, coatings, packaging or new bodies require a higher MOQ. Send the reference or a short brief and we will quote MOQ, tooling and unit price together.

How long does sampling take?

Existing-item samples are typically ready in 5–7 business days. New development samples take 10–15 business days after the design and material are confirmed, depending on tooling. Sample fees are quoted per project and can be credited against the first bulk order.

Can we request material and finish samples?

Yes. We can prepare a material sample set covering base construction, surface finish and coating options, so your team can assess feel, weight and appearance before the first technical meeting.

How does private label work?

Private label normally starts from an existing body or a jointly developed shape, then applies your handle, finish, logo marking and packaging. We agree the specification, approved sample, ownership of tooling and artwork, then produce against that reference. Your brand assets stay yours; our tooling and process knowledge stay ours.

Shipping, payment & after-sales

What shipping terms do you offer?

We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP depending on destination and buyer preference. Sea freight is standard for bulk orders; air and express cover samples and urgent replenishment. See Shipping & Returns for typical transit times.

What are your payment terms?

Standard terms are a deposit with the balance before shipment, confirmed against the inspection report. Repeat customers and larger programmes can agree other terms. All terms are stated in the proforma invoice.

What is the warranty on cookware?

Manufacturing defects are covered for 12 months from delivery under normal domestic or professional use appropriate to the product. Normal wear, coating wear from metal utensils, overheating and misuse are not covered. Commercial use should be stated at the quotation stage so the correct range and warranty are proposed.

How should the products be cared for?

Care depends on the material and coating: most stainless products are dishwasher-safe, while some finishes and wooden components require hand washing. Instructions are supplied with each product and should be published with the product listing. When in doubt, hand wash and dry promptly.

Do you supply hospitality projects?

Yes. We work with hotels, restaurants and catering suppliers on ranges that need durability, stackability and consistent replacement supply. Tell us the environment and the required volumes and we will propose the appropriate construction and finish.

Still stuck? Send the product reference and your question to our team — we reply with a specific answer, usually within one business day.

Need a document for your buyer?

We provide specification sheets, food-contact declarations and material statements for supplier files.
